Fishing near Milton Common

We hold 26 waters here: fourteen river stretches and twelve lakes. Everything below is within 9 miles.

By permission: twelve reported as club membership water, six as commercial day ticket water, four as club day ticket water and three as free fishing. The three free waters are the hardest of these to establish and the most worth knowing.

One of these is reported as unknown or disputed — we do not yet know who controls it, and saying so is more useful than guessing.

Fourteen of the 26 carry the river close season, 15 March to 15 June. The other twelve are reported fishable all year.

Species reported most often: chub at two, perch at two and roach at one. Reported by anglers, not surveyed.
